The Royal Mausoleum at Mount Oplenac holds a legacy from the Serbian royal dynasty Karadjordjevic. Known for its mosaic made of 725 sections, this white marble church has 1500 painted figures spanning an area of 3500 m2. Mosaic is made up of over 40 million pieces of coloured glass and gold in 15,000 different shades. Members of the royal family are buried in the crypt. The complex also has vineyards, a winery and a nineteenth century castle.
